Dell Launches Enterprise Deskside Agentic AI Platform

Dell enterprise AI workstation systems

Dell Technologies opened Dell Technologies World 2026 in Las Vegas with several enterprise AI announcements focused on running autonomous AI agents locally instead of in the cloud. Most notably, the company introduced Dell Deskside Agentic AI, a new solution that combines Dell workstations with NVIDIA’s NemoClaw software stack.

The platform allows developers to build and run AI agents on local systems while keeping sensitive enterprise data on-premises. As a result, organizations can reduce exposure to variable cloud token costs and shift toward fixed infrastructure investments. Additionally, Dell stated that some enterprises could recover deployment costs within months when compared with public cloud API spending.

Local AI Infrastructure Expands

Dell Deskside Agentic AI supports models ranging from 30 billion to 1 trillion parameters. Furthermore, the platform integrates NVIDIA OpenShell for sandboxed execution alongside NemoClaw, OpenClaw, NVIDIA Agent Toolkit, and Nemotron-3 models. CrowdStrike also provides security capabilities for the environment.

The solution targets software engineering teams, academic researchers, and regulated industries that require tighter control over intellectual property and operational data. Moreover, Dell released the platform immediately following the announcement.

Beyond desktop AI systems, Dell introduced PowerRack, a rack-scale infrastructure platform that combines compute, networking, storage, cooling, and management into a unified architecture. According to the company, enterprises can deploy the system within 6.5 hours after delivery.

Dell also unveiled the PowerCool CDU C7000, a 4U cooling distribution unit designed for NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 systems. The product delivers more than 220 kilowatts of cooling capacity and will launch during the third quarter of 2026.

Expanding Enterprise AI Ecosystems

Dell further expanded partnerships with companies, including Palantir and ServiceNow, to strengthen enterprise AI deployment and governance capabilities. Meanwhile, the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA has surpassed 4,000 enterprise customers worldwide.

The announcements also build on developments from NVIDIA GTC 2026 earlier this year. During that event, NVIDIA introduced NemoClaw as a platform for personal AI systems, while Dell became the first OEM to ship a desktop powered by the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip.
