stc Bahrain has launched Bayan, a fully integrated digital contact center, at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh. The platform combines voice and digital agents with real-time support for customer service teams. It also adds automated quality and sentiment analytics across the customer journey.
The initiative carries an investment of SAR 200,000. Moreover, stc Bahrain says Bayan will provide always-on, Arabic-first customer support. The platform is designed to understand Bahraini and Gulf Arabic across voice, chat, and back-office operations.
Bayan targets faster customer service
Bayan is designed to resolve up to 70% of routine customer contacts without human escalation. Meanwhile, stc Bahrain expects the system to reduce average handling times by up to 30%. These capabilities could help the operator streamline routine interactions while giving employees additional support.
The company also positions Bayan as the first fully integrated contact center with native Arabic-dialect capabilities deployed by a telecom operator in Bahrain. Unlike generic translation systems, the platform is designed around local Bahraini and Gulf Arabic nuances.
Phased rollout begins in 2026
The platform uses a governed, PDPL-compliant data foundation. Furthermore, stc Bahrain plans to begin the phased rollout in the fourth quarter of 2026. Full deployment across customer care channels is expected through 2027.
stc Bahrain is developing Bayan with Nabeh, a subsidiary of Master Works, through the Baseer Platform. Therefore, the project combines AI-enabled customer service with data governance and human oversight.
The launch also fits stc Bahrain’s wider push beyond connectivity and into digital services. At LEAP 2026, the company has announced several technology partnerships spanning automation, cloud, cybersecurity, and data solutions.
Consequently, Bayan adds another layer to Bahrain’s broader digital transformation agenda. Its Arabic-first design also reflects the growing focus on locally relevant AI capabilities within enterprise services.
