PayRemit and IDnow Middle East Collaborate to Offer AI-Powered Customer Onboarding

The DIFC-based IDnow Middle East has been chosen by PayRemit, a mobile e-commerce service that enables lower-income employees to purchase and pay in instalments, to offer automated identity verification for onboarding its consumers. Through this arrangement, IDnow’s automated, AI-powered identity verification system, AutoIdent, will be used by PayRemit.

Launched by Emirates NBD, the Metaverse Startup Accelerator to revolutionize the banking industry

In collaboration with the DIFC Fintech Hive and using Microsoft technology, Emirates NBD has created a worldwide accelerator programme for metaverse start-ups to improve customer experience for the emerging virtual economy.

With the help of Salt Edge, an open banking solution, and Vyzer, an Israeli fintech startup with a consumer focus, high net worth investors can now instantly connect and sync their European bank accounts. This allows for comprehensive analysis of investment performance and fully digital cashflow tracking in a single dashboard.

Israel’s Rewire to be Purchased by Remitly

Rewire, an Israeli-based financial services platform for migrant workers, has been acquired by Remitly Worldwide, Inc., a major global digital financial services provider for immigrants and their families. According to the terms of the contract, Remitly will buy Rewire for around $80 million in a combination of cash and shares.
