Ooredoo Money Joins Qatar Single Window

Ooredoo Money Qatar partnership signing

Ooredoo Money has become the first fintech company to join Qatar’s Single Window platform.

The agreement links Ooredoo Money’s merchant wallet with Qatar’s digital business registration system. As a result, investors, entrepreneurs, and business owners can apply for a merchant wallet when issuing or renewing their commercial registration.

The move strengthens Qatar’s push to digitize business services. Moreover, it gives companies access to digital payment services earlier in the business setup process.

Ooredoo Money Integrates With Single Window

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry signed the agreement with Ooredoo Fintech Qatar. Mubarak Abdul Rahman Al Khulaifi, Director of the Single Window Department, and Mashael Abdul Fattah, General Manager of Operations at Ooredoo Fintech Qatar, signed the agreement.

Under the agreement, businesses can apply for an Ooredoo Money merchant wallet during commercial registration procedures. The option covers both new registrations and renewals.

As a result, entrepreneurs can access digital payment services without completing a separate manual process. The integration also reduces reliance on paper documents and physical transactions.

The Ministry said the service will support business growth by improving access to digital financial services. The integration also aims to make the investor journey faster and more efficient.

Ooredoo Money already offers merchant wallets for business payments and payroll services. In addition, its platform provides digital onboarding for eligible small and medium-sized enterprises.

Qatar Expands Digital Business Services

The Single Window platform serves as a central digital gateway for business establishment and government transactions. It supports services ranging from registration and licensing to other approvals investors require.

Importantly, the platform connects multiple government entities through a unified digital system. In 2025, the Ministry said it offered more than 30 main services and 149 sub-services across 17 government entities.

The platform is also seeing growing digital adoption. During the second quarter of 2026, users completed 131,269 transactions through Single Window. Of those transactions, 86% were completed electronically.

Meanwhile, customer satisfaction with electronic submissions reached 93%. Consequently, the latest fintech integration builds on an already expanding digital business ecosystem.

The Ministry said the agreement forms part of wider cooperation with financial institutions. Therefore, Qatar aims to add more financial services to the platform while improving access for businesses.

Ooredoo Money Targets SME Financial Inclusion

The integration also supports Qatar’s efforts to improve financial inclusion for businesses. In particular, SMEs can access merchant payment services earlier in their commercial journey.

Mashael Abdul Fattah said that integrating Ooredoo Money into Single Window places financial services at a key point in business establishment. She added that the approach can reduce challenges for investors and entrepreneurs while supporting SME growth.

Ooredoo Fintech previously partnered with Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry in February 2025. That agreement introduced Ooredoo Money services through Single Window to support SME business setup.

However, the latest agreement formally makes Ooredoo Money the first fintech company to join the platform. This expands the earlier cooperation into a more integrated business registration experience.

For Qatar and the wider GCC, the development shows how government platforms are increasingly connecting directly with fintech services. As a result, business registration, payments and financial services can move closer to a single digital workflow.

The integration also supports Qatar National Vision 2030’s broader focus on digital transformation and a competitive investment environment. Therefore, adding Ooredoo Money could provide a model for deeper government-fintech integration across Qatar’s business ecosystem.
