Sharjah Digital Department Earns Circularo Award for Digital Transformation
The Government of Sharjah, represented by the Sharjah Digital Department (SDD), has received the prestigious Circularo Award for Digital Transformation in Information Technology. This recognition highlights the emirate’s leadership in innovation and sustainable digital solutions. The award acknowledges SDD’s excellence in implementing e-signature and digital certification services within the Sharjah Government Data Centre.
Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, director general of SDD, accepted the award on behalf of the department. Sharjah was chosen from several regional governments for its adoption of the Circularo approach to shared services. By optimizing infrastructure and technical resources, SDD has developed a pioneering model for sustainable digital transformation at the government level.
