iGA to introduce a mobile application that provides legal electronic services in Bahrain

The Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) in Bahrain, in collaboration with the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission, has recently launched a new mobile application named ‘Bahrain Legislators. The app has been designed to provide a user-friendly platform for accessing legal e-services and thousands of legal tools in Bahrain.

The Chairman of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission, Nawaf Hamza, stated that the app offers a convenient channel for accessing a range of legal e-services. These services include the ability to search and review legislation and decisions that have been issued within Bahrain. In addition to this, the app provides access to treaties and agreements, legal principles issued by the commission, and other services that may be of interest to concerned stakeholders.

The app also allows users to view the Constitution of Bahrain and the National Action Charter in both English and Arabic, making it an inclusive platform for all individuals in the country. The launch of the Bahrain Legislators app reflects the commission’s keenness to reinforce legal services provided to the public by making them available through a user-friendly mobile app.

The app features an advanced search facility that enables users to browse through 18,081 legal tools that have been issued in Bahrain. This extensive library of legal resources makes the app an invaluable tool for legal professionals, students, and researchers who require access to up-to-date legal information.
