Dyson Launches $499 CameraJet Smart Toothbrush With AI Camera

Dyson CameraJet AI smart toothbrush

Dyson has introduced CameraJet, a $499 smart toothbrush with artificial intelligence and an integrated camera. The device analyzes brushing in real time and helps users target plaque buildup between their teeth.

Additionally, CameraJet can zoom into narrow gaps where plaque often develops and hardens. Its AI system then identifies problem areas and provides immediate brushing guidance.

Dyson opened preorders for the toothbrush following its September 1, 2026 announcement. Moreover, customers can choose between blue and pink color options.

How CameraJet Improves Brushing

Dyson describes CameraJet as the first toothbrush designed with a built-in camera. Consequently, users can receive more detailed information about areas that traditional brushing may miss.

The camera scans spaces between teeth while the AI system evaluates the captured information. Meanwhile, the toothbrush directs a precision jet toward areas requiring additional cleaning.

Therefore, CameraJet combines visual analysis, personalized feedback and targeted cleaning within one device. The system aims to improve coverage while helping users develop more effective brushing habits.

However, its $499 price places it firmly within the premium oral-care market. Buyers will need to decide whether its camera and AI features justify the higher cost.

Competition in the Smart Toothbrush Market

Oral-B and Philips already offer connected toothbrushes that monitor brushing coverage, pressure and duration. Nevertheless, those devices do not currently feature an onboard camera for examining gaps between teeth.

As a result, CameraJet enters the market with a distinctive feature that could separate it from established competitors. Its camera-based system may also create a new category within premium dental technology.

More broadly, the launch reflects the growing use of AI and cameras in everyday consumer products. Ultimately, CameraJet shows how advanced technology continues to move into increasingly specialized areas of personal care.
