Khaleeji Bank Unveils Upgraded Mobile Banking App
Khaleeji Bank has launched an upgraded version of its mobile banking application in Bahrain, introducing new financial management tools, family banking services and digital investment options. Announced on October 29, 2026, the redesigned app aims to make everyday banking simpler, faster and more accessible.
The update expands the bank’s digital services through personalised financial insights, account aggregation and improved transaction information. It also introduces Ajyal – Khaleeji Family, a new feature that helps parents manage their children’s accounts, cards, and savings activities.
Alongside these enhancements, the bank is offering a limited-period investment opportunity with an expected return of up to 6.25% on fixed deposits subscribed through the application. The deposit also offers Zakat exemption on the principal amount, subject to the bank’s terms and conditions.
New Family Banking and Financial Management Features
One of the main additions is Ajyal – Khaleeji Family, which introduces interactive financial management tools for parents and children. Through the feature, parents can assign tasks, create challenges, offer rewards and establish savings goals for their children.
Parents can also manage their children’s accounts and payment cards through the application. The feature aims to introduce financial awareness and encourage responsible saving habits from an early age.
The upgraded application also introduces account aggregation through open banking services. Customers can view their Khaleeji Bank accounts alongside accounts held with other banks in Bahrain.
Additionally, personalised financial insights help users understand spending patterns, expenses and financial behaviour. The application also provides expanded transaction details, including merchant information and transaction locations.
Users can establish financial and savings targets and monitor their progress. They can also discover nearby bank offers and discounts or send money to family and friends with personalised digital gift cards.
Digital Financing and Everyday Banking Services
The new version also allows customers to apply for financing through a fully digital process. As a result, users can complete relevant application procedures without relying entirely on traditional banking channels.
The app adds everyday services, including prayer times and a Zakat calculator. These additions extend its role beyond conventional account and payment management.

The redesigned interface also improves navigation and access to frequently used services. The bank also aims to provide a more personalised experience based on customers’ financial needs and behaviour.
Limited-Period Investment Offer and Digital Banking Strategy
Alongside the application launch, Khaleeji Bank is offering an expected profit rate of up to 6.25% on fixed investment deposits subscribed through the app. The offer includes Zakat exemption on the principal amount and follows the bank’s Shari’a-compliant investment framework. However, the offer remains subject to applicable terms and conditions and is available for a limited period.
Ameera Ahmed Al Abbasi, Head of Retail Banking at Khaleeji Bank, said the redesigned application focuses on customers’ everyday banking requirements. She highlighted its integrated services, financial management tools and improved access to savings and investment options.
The launch forms part of Khaleeji Bank’s wider digital transformation strategy in Bahrain. By combining open banking, family financial management, digital financing and investment services, the bank aims to bring more financial activities into one application.
