Bank Muscat has partnered with Dynatrace to establish a centralized Command Center powered by AI-driven observability. As a result, the initiative delivers real-time insights that strengthen operational control. Moreover, the bank has deployed the platform to create the country’s first enterprise Command Center in the banking sector.
This development aims to improve operational resilience and accelerate incident response. Consequently, the bank can ensure seamless delivery of critical digital banking services. Since implementation, the Command Center has reduced mean time to detect incidents by more than 80 percent.
This improvement occurred because the bank consolidated over 20 monitoring tools into a single platform. Therefore, teams now rely on a unified system instead of fragmented tools.
Enhancing Visibility and Proactive Operations
The Command Center provides a comprehensive operational view across core banking systems and digital services. In addition, it covers payment platforms and customer-facing applications. As a result, teams gain complete visibility into system performance.
By leveraging AI-assisted analysis, the system replaces reactive monitoring with proactive service assurance. Consequently, teams can identify and address issues before they escalate. This shift also enables faster decision-making and improved coordination.
Driving Measurable Efficiency Gains
Since launching the Command Center, the bank has achieved significant operational improvements. For instance, incident detection now takes five minutes or less. Additionally, alert noise has decreased, allowing teams to resolve issues more efficiently during peak periods.
At the same time, standardized detection and response processes have reduced reliance on reactive troubleshooting. Therefore, teams can focus more on preventive engineering and automation. Furthermore, the bank has lowered its dependence on third-party support while strengthening internal capabilities.
