Savvy and Roblox Partner to Strengthen Saudi Arabia’s Gaming Ecosystem
Savvy Games Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Roblox to expand game development opportunities and strengthen Saudi Arabia’s growing gaming ecosystem. Through the agreement, both companies will use Roblox’s platform and educational tools to help creators build skills and access new opportunities.
In addition, Savvy will support Roblox in establishing a stronger operational presence across the region. The partnership will also bring Roblox’s Developer Relations expertise directly into Saudi Arabia to assist local game developers and studios.
As a result, Saudi creators will gain easier access to localized training, technical support, and community-building resources. Moreover, the collaboration will utilize the Roblox Creator Hub to provide online learning materials, upskilling workshops, and specialized competitions for aspiring developers.
Focus on Education and Digital Safety
The partnership places strong emphasis on education and youth engagement. Therefore, Savvy and Roblox plan to work closely with schools, creators, and parents while supporting several initiatives linked to the Ministry of Education.
The collaboration will also support Saudi-based developers in creating playable games inspired by winning ideas from a nationwide grassroots competition. More than 700,000 high school students participated in the initiative, highlighting growing interest in game development across the Kingdom.
Furthermore, Savvy, Roblox, and the Ministry of Education will co-develop educational materials focused on online safety, parental controls, safe gameplay, and digital literacy. These efforts aim to help young users navigate digital spaces more responsibly while encouraging creativity and innovation.
