Presight Partners Almaty For AI Smart Infrastructure
Presight has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Almaty to support next-generation urban infrastructure and accelerate digital transformation through applied artificial intelligence technologies.
The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration focused on designing and deploying intelligent systems across key city infrastructure sectors. Furthermore, the partnership aims to strengthen Almaty’s digital ecosystem through scalable and data-driven urban solutions.
In addition, the initiative builds on Presight’s expanding presence in Kazakhstan, which already includes smart city and AI infrastructure projects.
AI Systems To Support Urban Operations
Under the agreement, Presight and the City of Almaty will jointly develop a roadmap for intelligent urban systems. The plan will include feasibility studies, deployment models, and system architecture for large-scale implementation.
Moreover, the collaboration will focus on urban mobility, public safety, and municipal services. Planned projects include intelligent transport systems, digital public service platforms, and AI-powered situational command centres.
The agreement also includes the proposed development of foundational digital infrastructure, including an AI data centre. Therefore, both parties will assess compute capacity, energy supply, network architecture, cooling systems, and security requirements for long-term deployment.
Focus On Sovereign Digital Infrastructure
The partnership will also include technical, financial, regulatory, and economic studies to evaluate project feasibility and long-term impact. At the same time, both sides plan to support knowledge exchange and joint research initiatives through collaboration with the Almaty AI Hub.
Furthermore, the agreement explores the possibility of establishing a regional Presight office in Almaty to support local capability development and long-term operations.
By combining local leadership with applied AI expertise, the collaboration aims to strengthen urban resilience, improve operational efficiency, and enhance residents’ quality of life through secure and sovereign digital infrastructure.
