UAEV Opens First Integrated EV Charging Hub in Ajman
The first integrated electric vehicle charging hub in the Northern Emirates has opened in Ajman, marking a major milestone for clean mobility. Moreover, the new facility represents a step forward in expanding advanced EV infrastructure beyond major urban centres.
Advanced technology and capacity
H.H. Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, toured the new hub and reviewed its facilities. During the visit, he examined cutting-edge technological systems that support next-generation electric mobility.
The hub can charge up to 20 vehicles at the same time, while it also houses the region’s fastest 400 kW ultra-fast charger. As a result, the facility significantly boosts both performance and efficiency across the EV charging network. In addition, Sheikh Al Nuaimi was briefed on the hub’s key features, which represent a strategic move toward strengthening charging infrastructure and accelerating the transition to clean transportation.

H.E. Sharif Al Olama, Chairman of UAEV, said that, “The EV charging hub in Ajman reflects our national commitment to sustainability and future-ready mobility. The new hub combines contemporary design with high-performance capabilities. Furthermore, it highlights innovation, design excellence and sustainability in a single space. At the same time, the project aligns with the mission to expand the national charging network using the highest standards of safety, innovation and customer experience, while supporting the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy and the National Electric Vehicles Policy.
