Saudi National Guard Launches Mobile Cybersecurity Expo
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of National Guard has launched a mobile cybersecurity awareness exhibition to help personnel recognise digital threats and improve online safety. Vice Minister Dr Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Daoud inaugurated the two-day event on October 19, 2026, in collaboration with the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA).
The exhibition forms part of the National Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign. Moreover, it aims to strengthen national security awareness, encourage safer digital practices, and reduce exposure to emerging cyber risks. The initiative also promotes coordination between government entities on cybersecurity education.
Six Interactive Pavilions Demonstrate Cyber Threats
The exhibition features six specialised pavilions that explain cybersecurity concepts and their importance to national security. Through interactive demonstrations, personnel can learn how cyberattacks target individuals and organisations.
The programme uses modern technology and live simulations to demonstrate common attack methods. For example, participants can explore suspicious online activity, potential security breaches, and practices that put sensitive information at risk. As a result, the exhibition connects cybersecurity theory with situations personnel may encounter at work.
Strengthening Workplace Cybersecurity and National Resilience
In addition to attack simulations, the exhibition provides practical guidance on protecting information and digital systems. Personnel receive advice on recognising suspicious messages, safeguarding sensitive data, and adopting secure workplace habits. Furthermore, the programme encourages employees to respond appropriately when they identify a potential cybersecurity incident.
The event also supports Saudi Arabia’s wider efforts to strengthen cybersecurity capabilities across public institutions. The NCA leads national awareness initiatives and helps government organisations develop programmes that improve employees’ understanding of digital risks.
