
The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE) has partnered with e& money, the fintech arm of e&, to simplify wage payments for domestic workers. By integrating MOHRE’s Wage Protection System (WPS) APIs into e& money’s platform, the system enables secure, compliant, and efficient salary disbursement. Consequently, employers can reduce reliance on cash while supporting the UAE’s transition to a cashless economy.
APIs allow the e& money app to communicate directly with MOHRE’s systems. Once domestic workers are registered in the designated MOHRE section within the app, their names and salary details automatically appear, enabling hassle-free payments.
Enhancing Financial Inclusion and Efficiency
Wage data is securely documented and stored within MOHRE systems, simplifying compliance for employers and workers alike. Domestic workers gain access to an IBAN, a digital wallet, and a Mastercard prepaid card, promoting financial inclusion among largely unbanked populations.
Accessible and Inclusive Financial Solutions
e& money also provides an introductory free card for up to two employees and offers competitive exchange rates for international transfers. As a result, domestic workers can manage their finances through an affordable and secure super app, enhancing convenience and accessibility.
