Samsung Reveals 2025 Monitor Line-Up Featuring Industry-First Innovations
At CES 2025, Samsung unveiled its latest range of monitors, showcasing groundbreaking advancements across its Smart, Odyssey, and ViewFinity series. The lineup includes five new models, with two marked as “industry-firsts.”
The Odyssey series introduces the OLED G6 and OLED G8, both featuring cutting-edge innovations. The 32-inch OLED G6 redefines gaming performance with a 500Hz refresh rate, a QHD resolution, and support for AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies. Meanwhile, the 27-inch OLED G8 is the first 4K OLED monitor of its size, boasting 8 million pixels, a 0.03ms response time, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 4004 technology for unparalleled color accuracy.
A standout addition is the Odyssey 3D, a 27-inch monitor capable of converting 2D content into 3D using AI, offering a new way to experience gaming.
In its Smart Monitor series, Samsung introduced the M9, the first monitor with AI integrated directly into the device. The M9’s AI features include 4K AI Upscaling Pro and automatic picture adjustments based on game genres.
The ViewFinity series expanded with the 37-inch ViewFinity S8, now the largest 16:9 4K monitor in the market.
