MBRSC Opens Applications for 2025 Space Research Programme to Develop Emirati STEM Talent

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) has begun accepting applications for its 2025 Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) programme. This initiative aims to nurture Emirati talent in space science and engineering.
Scheduled to run from June to August 2025, the eight-week summer programme offers hands-on research experience.
Participants will collaborate with experts at MBRSC and other top institutions, including the University of Sharjah, New York University Abu Dhabi, the National Space Science and Technology Center, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
A Platform for Future Space Leaders
The programme is open to university students in their second, third, or final year before graduation (no earlier than Fall 2025). Under expert mentorship, they will explore key areas such as space science, human health in space, and engineering innovations.
This initiative reflects the UAE’s commitment to advancing scientific research and preparing the next generation of space scientists and engineers.
Interested candidates must submit applications by April 14 via the official MBRSC portal.
