The Africa Blockchain Incubator Program has sent a call for Egyptian startups working in and around blockchain to join an incubator that aims to encourage creativity and ideas around distributed ledger technologies.
A structured four-month program of workshops, training, development, mentoring sessions, and community events, await successful applicants while the program also provides a set of resources for new founders to use to launch and scale a startup. While details are unclear, the program is set to come to a close with a demo day that will allow participants to pitch their business to investors, experts, and the wider blockchain community.
With startups from ZImbabwe also targetted the program ultimately looks to help entrepreneurs and founders grow their business, strengthening their commercial viability and increasing their competitiveness in domestic and international markets, with a view to positioning Africa as not only a technology recipient but also a major player.
