European private markets investment group Eurazeo has opened its first Middle East office in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). The company announced the move on October 1, 2026, describing it as a new step in its international expansion.

The Abu Dhabi office will serve as Eurazeo’s regional hub. It will strengthen the group’s relationships with institutional investors, family offices, sovereign institutions and strategic partners across the Middle East.

Eurazeo manages €40 billion in assets and is listed on Euronext Paris. Moreover, the group has spent the past decade building relationships with investors across the Gulf. It also supports portfolio companies expanding into international markets.

Abu Dhabi Office Targets Gulf Investors

The new office will focus on connecting Gulf capital with European private market opportunities. In particular, Eurazeo sees demand among regional investors seeking greater exposure to European mid-market companies.

The firm says Europe offers a broad pool of entrepreneurial businesses with growth potential. Therefore, the Abu Dhabi presence will allow Eurazeo to engage more directly with investors seeking these opportunities.

Adrien Pinelli, Managing Director in Eurazeo’s Investor Relations team, will lead the new office. The company said the location will also support portfolio companies developing their presence across the Gulf.

Eurazeo Expands ADGM Investment Community

The move adds Eurazeo to ADGM’s expanding community of international asset managers. Meanwhile, ADGM continues to attract firms seeking a base for investment activities in the Middle East.

ADGM’s public register lists Eurazeo Middle East Ltd as an active financial firm. Its authorisation took effect on September 8, 2026, with regulated activities including advising on investments and arranging investment deals.

Eurazeo co-CEOs Christophe Bavière and William Kadouch-Chassaing said the Gulf has become increasingly important to the group. They also pointed to growing regional interest in European mid-market investments.

At the same time, ADGM welcomed Eurazeo as part of Abu Dhabi’s growing global asset-management community. Arvind Ramamurthy, ADGM’s Chief Market Development Officer, said the office could deepen investment links between the Gulf and Europe.

The opening follows a broader expansion of private markets firms in Abu Dhabi. Consequently, Eurazeo’s arrival adds another European investment platform to the emirate’s financial ecosystem.
