Binance Becomes First Crypto Exchange to Secure Global FSRA License

Crypto exchange receives FSRA license

A major global crypto exchange has received full regulatory authorization from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of ADGM to operate its primary platform under a mature and internationally respected framework. This achievement marks a turning point in its long-term plan to build a trusted and fully compliant digital-asset ecosystem. Moreover, the authorization gives the company broader access to global markets while strengthening its reputation as a leader in regulated digital finance.

To satisfy the FSRA’s requirements, the organization structured its operations into three licensed entities that align with established international market architecture. As a result, its trading, clearing, and brokerage functions now follow standards often expected in traditional financial markets.

Structure of the Licensed Entities

Nest Services Limited, soon to be renamed Nest Exchange Limited, is approved as a Recognized Investment Exchange with permission to operate a Multilateral Trading Facility. It will oversee all on-exchange trading, including spot and derivatives. Furthermore, Nest Clearing and Custody Limited is approved as a Recognized Clearing House and may also provide custody and CSD services. It will manage clearing, settlement, and secure storage of digital assets, ensuring strong operational resilience. Additionally, BCI Limited, soon to be renamed Nest Trading Limited, has been approved as a Broker-Dealer with permissions covering investment dealings, asset management, custody arrangements, and money services. This entity will support off-exchange offerings such as OTC trading, conversions, and other principal-based services.
