Lamborghini Unveils Temerario Super Trofeo for 2027

Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo race car on track

Lamborghini unveiled the Temerario Super Trofeo, its latest single-make racing car. Additionally, the model will make its competitive debut in global championships from 2027. It becomes the sixth model in Lamborghini’s single-make fleet since the launch of the Squadra Corse customer racing division. Meanwhile, the outgoing Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 will remain active through the end of the 2026 season.

Technical specs and race-ready design

The Temerario Super Trofeo runs a twin-turbocharged V8 that delivers about 640 horsepower. Moreover, the hybrid element of the roadgoing drivetrain was removed for pure-race performance. The same engine powers the Temerario GT3, which is scheduled for competition next year. The car uses a six-speed sequential gearbox carried over from the GT3 project. In addition, the chassis is an ALU/CFK hybrid with a fully integrated FIA roll cage. The package also includes ABS braking and a 12-point adjustable traction control system, enhancing safety and drivability.

Customer racing role and program fit

The Temerario Super Trofeo is positioned as the pure racing evolution of the road car, offering a direct pathway into GT competition. Furthermore, the car’s shared components with the GT3 model help streamline development and customer support. Consequently, the new Super Trofeo will serve as an ideal entry point for drivers seeking high-performance single-make racing. Finally, the platform strengthens Lamborghini’s customer-racing programme and supports the brand’s Super Trofeo events worldwide.
