The creative platform unveiled its proprietary design model that understands layers and formats, powering new AI-driven features. The model creates designs with editable elements instead of flat images, offering flexibility across posts, presentations, whiteboards, and websites. It was trained using the company’s vast library of design assets to ensure more accurate visual generation.
AI Assistant Expands Across the Platform
Earlier this year, the platform introduced an AI assistant that generates visual content from text. Now, this assistant is available across the interface, including within design and element tabs. Users can tag the assistant in comments to receive text or media suggestions while collaborating with others.
Additionally, the assistant can create 3D objects and replicate the art style of any design. These updates make creative workflows smoother and significantly reduce the time needed to produce visually consistent content.
New Products and Deeper Integration
The company also launched a spreadsheet product and enhanced its app-building tool. These are now connected, enabling users to turn spreadsheet data into interactive widgets. This integration bridges the gap between design and data, making it easier to visualize information dynamically.
Alongside these tools, the platform introduced a marketing suite called Grow, which combines asset creation with performance analytics. It also supports direct publishing to advertising platforms. Users can now design and measure campaigns in one place, creating a complete marketing ecosystem.
Moreover, form creation and email design features have been added. Users can design branded forms to collect responses or craft marketing emails that maintain visual consistency.
Finally, following its acquisition of the professional suite Affinity, the company announced that Affinity will now be free forever. The Affinity interface is being redesigned to merge vector, pixel, and layout tools while integrating tightly with the main platform. Designers can seamlessly move between tools, using AI to generate images or objects within their creative projects.
