HUMAIN and Qualcomm Partner To Build Advanced AI Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia

Executives Announcing AI Partnership

In a landmark move, HUMAIN and Qualcomm Technologies have partnered to roll out advanced artificial intelligence infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. The announcement comes just before the 9th Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference. Their shared goal is to deliver the world’s first fully optimized edge-to-cloud hybrid AI platform.

This effort aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader ambitions to become a global leader in artificial intelligence. The collaboration builds upon commitments previously announced during the US–Saudi Investment Forum in May 2025.

Starting in 2026, HUMAIN plans to deploy 200 megawatts of Qualcomm’s AI200 and AI250 rack-scale solutions. This deployment will serve as the backbone for high-performance AI inference services both within the Kingdom and across international markets. By leveraging this infrastructure, enterprises and governments will gain access to scalable AI solutions with superior performance-to-cost efficiency.

Enabling End-To-End AI Services Across Sectors

This initiative marks a significant step forward in advancing Saudi Arabia’s technology ecosystem. It brings together HUMAIN’s deep regional infrastructure capabilities and Qualcomm’s expertise in semiconductor and AI innovation. As a result, the collaboration creates a replicable model for other nations aiming to develop full-stack AI capabilities from data centers to commercial AI services.

Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, remarked, “With Qualcomm’s world-class AI infrastructure solutions, we’re shaping the foundation of the Kingdom’s AI future. This collaboration unites HUMAIN’s deep regional insight and unique full AI stack capabilities with Qualcomm’s unmatched semiconductor technology and product leadership. Together, we will enable Saudi Arabia to lead the next wave of global AI and semiconductor innovation.”

Cristiano Amon, President and CEO at Qualcomm, added, “By establishing advanced AI data centers powered by Qualcomm’s industry-leading inference solutions, we are helping the Kingdom create a technology ecosystem that will accelerate its AI ambitions of becoming a hub of intelligent computing. Together with HUMAIN, we are laying the groundwork for transformative AI-driven innovation that will empower enterprises, government organizations and communities in the region and globally.”

The partnership also includes the integration of HUMAIN’s locally developed ALLaM AI models with Qualcomm’s platforms. As a result, this will unlock new possibilities across a wide range of industries. Furthermore, tailored AI solutions will be developed to meet the unique requirements of both enterprises and government sectors.

Delivering Scalable, Hybrid AI Capabilities At Industry-Leading Efficiency

Qualcomm’s AI200 and AI250 rack solutions are engineered to provide high-speed generative AI inference with exceptional memory capacity. This makes them ideal for demanding workloads that require flexibility and scale. The collaboration ensures that the hybrid AI services from the edge to the cloud operate at optimal efficiency while maintaining a competitive total cost of ownership.

This initiative not only reflects the Kingdom’s intent to accelerate economic diversification through AI and semiconductors, but also demonstrates Qualcomm’s ongoing commitment to global innovation. The program is expected to catalyze long-term transformation in intelligent computing across the Gulf region and beyond.
