
Google will serve as the official cloud provider for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Additionally, the agreement extends coverage to Team USA and NBCUniversal’s U.S. broadcasts. Furthermore, the partnership will deploy Google Cloud infrastructure and AI tools, including the Gemini model and new Search features such as AI Mode. These tools will help fans find information during multi-platform broadcasts, and they will support Games operations.

Also, YouTube will host select Games-related content as an extension of NBCUniversal coverage. Moreover, the technology will support millions of fans, athletes, volunteers, and workers. In addition, the deployment will support over 70,000 volunteers and workers, aiding on-site operations. Google joins Starbucks, Honda, Comcast, and Delta as a founding partner of LA28. The plan targets $800 million to $1 billion in new deals in 2025; consequently, total sponsorship revenue could reach about $2 billion. Finally, the Games will rely on existing venues rather than build new permanent infrastructure.
