Seiko Epson Corporation has established its MENA Regional Headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The move strengthens Epson’s presence in the Kingdom and across the Middle East and North Africa.
The new headquarters is located in Riyadh’s Olaya District. It will serve as a regional hub for innovation, collaboration and customer engagement. As a result, Epson expects the facility to strengthen regional operations and support customers and partners more closely.
Epson has operated in Saudi Arabia for more than 15 years. Therefore, the new regional headquarters expands an established presence in the Kingdom. The company also plans to strengthen its local distribution network and expand its reach in education.
Riyadh to Drive Regional Operations
Ryo Tachimori, Vice President of Business Operations for Epson’s Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, Central and West Asia (META-CWA), will lead Saudi operations as General Manager. Meanwhile, Suat Ozsoy will serve as Regional Director, while Husam Alzughayyar will continue as Country Manager.
Together, the leadership team will oversee strategic direction, business operations, marketing and financial performance. They will also focus on expanding the market and integrating Epson’s products and services across the region.
The company said the Saudi headquarters will work closely with its Dubai headquarters. As a result, Epson aims to create a connected regional network while improving communication with customers and partners.
The new structure will also support closer communication with Epson’s research and development team in Japan. Furthermore, Epson plans to expand its channel partner network and market reach in Saudi Arabia.
Epson Expands Investment and Local Talent
Epson has allocated more than $13 million to strengthen infrastructure across its META-CWA region. Between 2022 and 2024, the company increased facilities investment by 28.6% and personnel investment by 45%.
The company is also focusing on developing local talent. For example, Epson launched its Graduate Program in 2022 to give young professionals practical experience and build skills. Three program participants have since joined Epson, according to the company.
The headquarters also reflects Saudi Arabia’s growing role as a regional technology and business hub. Meanwhile, Epson says its expansion will support digital transformation and contribute to local economic development.
Epson’s Saudi presence now includes a dedicated regional headquarters alongside its wider META-CWA operations. Therefore, the company is positioning Riyadh as a key base for future growth across MENA.
