Lenovo has officially launched its first-ever AI-powered tablet, the Yoga Tab Plus, on July 9. It introduces Lenovo AI Now, the company’s on-device AI agent designed to deliver context-aware capabilities without relying on the cloud. Unlike many AI systems that require constant connectivity, Lenovo’s offering operates in real time, helping users remain productive and secure.

Under the hood, the tablet runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It features 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which users can expand up to 512GB. This makes it well-suited for heavy multitasking and storage-intensive tasks. Moreover, the Yoga Tab Plus comes pre-loaded with support for Google Gemini. As a result, users can benefit from enhanced voice commands and stylus-first interaction. Additionally, AI Note and AI Transcript features allow content summarization directly on the device.

The device boasts a 12.7-inch 3K PureSight Pro display, offering a 144Hz refresh rate, 900 nits of brightness, and a wide DCI-P3 color gamut. These features combine to provide sharp, vibrant visuals. Despite its large screen, the tablet is built from durable aluminum alloy and weighs only 640g. Furthermore, an integrated stainless-steel kickstand allows for flexible hands-free use in multiple positions.

Performance, Sound, and Design That Enhance Everyday Use

Thanks to a 10,200mAh battery, the Yoga Tab Plus promises extended usage throughout the day. With 45W fast charging support, topping up the battery is quick and convenient. Whether you’re streaming or working, the device is designed to stay powered for longer stretches.

Sound quality is also a standout feature. The six-speaker setup, tuned by Harman Kardon, includes two tweeters and four woofers. Combined with Dolby Atmos support, it delivers an immersive audio experience that should please audiophiles.

The tablet also supports productivity-enhancing accessories. It includes the Pen Pro stylus, which offers features such as double-tap tool switching and press-slide copy-paste. These tools help streamline creative and professional workflows. For even more versatility, users can opt for the 2-in-1 keyboard pack. This optional bundle includes a dedicated Lenovo AI Now key to toggle between work and creative tasks quickly.

Smarter Connectivity and Seamless Integration

The Yoga Tab Plus supports advanced connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. It features a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port for charging and audio, along with a 3-point pogo pin connector for easy keyboard integration. These features contribute to a more seamless experience when switching between devices.

In addition, Lenovo Smart Connect enhances cross-device continuity. Users can share clipboards, extend screens, and unlock PCs all from the tablet. Whether at home, at work, or traveling, this unified digital experience aims to make transitions smoother and smarter.
