BMW Unveils the First-Ever M3 CS Touring: A High-Performance Limited Edition Wagon

BMW has officially revealed the first-ever M3 CS Touring, a limited-edition high-performance wagon that blends track-ready engineering with daily practicality. The debut took place at Mount Panorama Circuit during the Bathurst 12-Hour race, marking a significant milestone for BMW’s M division.

Power & Performance

The M3 CS Touring is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine, delivering an impressive 550 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and BMW’s M xDrive all-wheel-drive system, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 186 mph. Performance enhancements include a reinforced crankcase, a forged lightweight crankshaft, and model-specific chassis tuning.

Lightweight Construction & Aerodynamics

To enhance performance, BMW has incorporated carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) components across the hood, front splitter, mirror caps, and rear diffuser, reducing weight by 15 kg compared to the standard M3 Competition Touring. Inside, M Carbon bucket seats and a lightweight center console reinforce the race-inspired aesthetic, while a titanium rear silencer enhances the exhaust note.

Exclusive Design & Features

The M3 CS Touring sports a frameless kidney grille, yellow GT-style headlights, and distinctive color options such as British Racing Green and Laguna Seca Blue. It rides on forged 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, equipped with track-ready tires for maximum grip and stability.
