Otech and Remedy Launch AI Corporate Platform

Otech Remedy AI partnership signing

Otech, the technology arm of Omantel, has signed a cooperation agreement with Remedy to develop and launch RISE Talent, an AI-powered enterprise platform. The platform targets strategic planning, enterprise performance management and human capital management.

The partnership also supports Oman’s efforts to strengthen its local technology ecosystem. In particular, Otech plans to help translate locally developed technology into enterprise-ready solutions. Remedy, meanwhile, will bring its AI capabilities into an institutional environment through the collaboration.

RISE Talent Connects Strategy and Talent

Under the agreement, Otech will implement the RISE Talent platform within its corporate system. The platform connects strategic objectives with organisational levels and employee-related processes.

Furthermore, RISE Talent covers several core human resources functions. These include competency framework management, recruitment, learning and development, performance management and career planning. It also provides AI-supported HR analytics and digital self-service tools.

The platform therefore aims to connect workforce management with broader corporate priorities. Instead of treating talent processes as separate functions, the system brings strategy, performance and human capital management into a more integrated environment.

Otech’s public communications describe RISE Talent as an AI-powered enterprise platform designed to support strategic planning, enterprise performance management, and human capital management. The company also identifies Remedy as a company from the Omantel Innovation Lab.

Moreover, the collaboration builds on practical experience within Otech. Omantel’s published material indicates that Otech has developed and applied an integrated talent-management system over the past three years. That experience covers competency management, recruitment, performance, talent development, career paths and succession planning.

AI Brings Analytics Into Enterprise Management

The partnership goes beyond deploying another HR application. Instead, it seeks to apply artificial intelligence to areas where organisations need stronger analysis and decision support.

For example, AI-supported HR analytics can help organisations examine workforce information and identify patterns relevant to talent management. In addition, digital self-service tools can simplify routine employee processes and reduce administrative workloads.

Remedy’s role is also significant because the company is positioning RISE Talent around the connection between strategy, performance and talent. According to its co-founder, Turki bin Abdul Hafeez Al Balushi, the collaboration will allow Remedy to deploy its solutions in institutional environments while using Otech’s expertise to address business requirements.

Meanwhile, Otech Acting CEO Maqbool bin Salem Al-Wahaibi said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and to helping emerging technology companies turn ideas into practical enterprise solutions. He also highlighted the importance of connecting local technical capabilities with the needs of businesses.

Consequently, the agreement provides Remedy with an enterprise environment for further development. At the same time, Otech gains access to an AI-enabled platform that can strengthen its internal corporate and talent-management processes.

The companies also intend to expand the use of AI-based corporate and human resources solutions in Oman. This creates a potential pathway for the technology to move beyond Otech and address requirements across other organisations.

Supporting Oman’s Digital Innovation Ecosystem

The partnership arrives as Oman continues to encourage local technology development and digital transformation. Otech has positioned the collaboration as part of its effort to support local technology companies and help them develop scalable solutions for the Omani market and beyond.

Furthermore, Otech and Remedy describe the initiative as supporting the objectives of Oman Vision 2040. The companies see stronger connections between established enterprises and local technology innovators as an important part of building the country’s digital economy.

The collaboration also illustrates how enterprise AI is moving into workforce management. Previously, many corporate AI projects focused on customer service, automation and data analysis. Now, organisations are increasingly applying AI to strategic planning, performance management and employee development.

For Oman, the significance extends beyond one platform. If RISE Talent scales successfully, it could provide a local example of how homegrown AI capabilities can move from innovation programmes into operational enterprise systems.

Therefore, the Otech-Remedy agreement combines technology adoption with local innovation development. Otech gains an AI-powered platform for its own corporate environment, while Remedy gains an institutional setting to develop and demonstrate its technology.

Ultimately, RISE Talent places AI at the intersection of strategy, performance and human capital. As organisations across Oman continue their digital transformation, the partnership could offer a model for turning local technology innovation into practical enterprise applications.
