ALPHA ZERO

Alpha Zero is a computer program that is developed to achieve a superhuman level of gameplay in chess. It is devised by researchers from Google and Deep Mind as a self-learning algorithm that could be used to win against itself and also use this improvement to triumph over other programs and human beings. Apart from chess, this program also finds relevance in other strategy games such as Shogi and Go. It applies the technique of reinforcement learning that implements all trial and error methods to solve the problem and aims towards improving personal performance. It allows you to search through over 80000 possible moves per second and works wonders, even in complex gaming situations. 

STOCKFISH 

Stockfish is currently one of the strongest chess engines that are available. Distinct from other chess engines in the market, it is an open-source engine that does not use the abilities rendered by artificial intelligence or machine learning to devise the strategies. An entire community of people is involved in improving the performance of the program through a variety of permutations and combinations. Stockfish also has inducted several neural networks in its code that would provide more efficient and better evaluations during the gameplay. It is majorly available on all platforms such as Windows, Mac, and Android. 

KOMODO CHESS 

Komodo Chess is indeed one of the foremost and earlier players in the industry of chess engines. Developed in the year 2010, it has emerged to be one of the most successful universal chess interfaces in the market currently. It has gone through numerous and major modifications over the years and it has surely paved the way for improving the strategic lineup and efficiency in the gameplay.
