Adobe Brings 70+ Creative Tools to ChatGPT

Adobe has launched a unified ChatGPT plugin that brings more than 70 creative and productivity tools into one conversational workflow. The global rollout began on August 6, 2026.

More Adobe Tools Inside ChatGPT

The plugin combines capabilities from several Adobe applications. These include Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat. Therefore, users can handle image, video, design and document tasks without switching between multiple applications.

For example, users can upload several photos and describe the look they want. The plugin can then apply consistent edits across the collection. Moreover, those files can be saved to Adobe Creative Cloud for continued work.

Conversational Creative Workflows

The integration also extends to video and design workflows. For instance, users can create short highlight videos from longer projects. They can also resize videos for different social platforms. Meanwhile, Illustrator and InDesign tools support broader graphic design tasks. Acrobat adds capabilities for creating and working with PDFs.

Users can invoke the plugin through the “@Adobe” command inside ChatGPT. Additionally, Adobe says the plugin uses tools found within its established applications. When a task requires deeper control, users can continue editing the work in Photoshop.

Access and Adobe’s Broader AI Strategy

The plugin is available globally, while Adobe account holders receive additional generative capabilities and Creative Cloud storage. However, guests can also use the plugin without signing in.

Adobe previously brought Photoshop, Express and Acrobat into ChatGPT. Those integrations allowed users to edit images, create designs and modify PDFs through conversational commands.

Now, the unified plugin expands that approach across a much wider set of tools. As a result, Adobe is positioning ChatGPT as another entry point into its creative ecosystem while retaining its full desktop applications for complex workflows. Adobe executive Forest Key said the plugin “isn’t a replacement for our flagship apps” and instead brings professional tools into conversational workflows.
