Google Launches Gemini 3.7 Flash AI Model
Google has launched Gemini 3.7 Flash, a new AI model built for coding, software engineering and agent workflows. The company describes it as its most capable Flash workhorse model yet.
The model arrives only three weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash. Meanwhile, Google is targeting developers and businesses that need AI systems to plan tasks, use tools and complete multi-step workflows with less human intervention.
Stronger Coding and Agent Performance
Gemini 3.7 Flash improves several software engineering tasks, including debugging, issue resolution and production-ready code generation. Furthermore, Google reports stronger results across coding and web development benchmarks.
On FrontierCode 1.1 Main, the model scored 43.6%, compared with 34.4% for Gemini 3.6 Flash. Similarly, its DeepSWE v1.1 score reached 65.3%, up from about 49%.
The model also posted an Elo score of 1,588 on WebDev Arena. Gemini 3.6 Flash scored 1,538. Additionally, Google reports a 30.4% result on AutomationBench, compared with 17% previously.
Therefore, the improvements target long-running tasks where agents must plan, adapt and call external tools. Google also says the model follows instructions more reliably and handles obstacles with fewer manual interventions.
Lower Pricing and Wider Availability
Google is also using pricing to encourage adoption. Until December 31, 2026, Gemini 3.7 Flash costs $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens. That represents half the introductory pricing of Gemini 3.6 Flash.
From January 1, 2027, the rates will rise to $1.50 per million input tokens and $7.50 per million output tokens.
Meanwhile, developers can access Gemini 3.7 Flash through the Gemini API, Google AI Studio, Android Studio and Google Antigravity. Enterprise customers can use it through the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and Gemini Enterprise app.
The model is also powering Gemini Spark, Google’s personal AI agent. Spark can handle multi-step tasks across Google Workspace, including drafting emails, consolidating files and updating documents. It is available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in more than 160 countries.
Overall, Gemini 3.7 Flash strengthens Google’s push toward faster, lower-cost AI agents. At the same time, its rapid release cycle shows how quickly coding and workflow models are evolving.
