YouTube Shorts creators in Egypt now eligible for USD 10 Million fund

The YouTube Shorts Fund, a global USD 100 million funds dedicated to monetizing the work of YouTube Shorts creators, is reaching out to content creators across the MENA region, including Egypt, Algeria, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Channels will be able to earn anywhere between USD 100 and USD 10,000 a month, with bonuses based on total performance and audience location.

To be eligible, channels need to abide by YouTube’s guidelines, rules and policies and will need to have uploaded at least one Short in the past 180 days. The channel’s creators must be above the age of majority in their country, and can not upload videos made by others, or videos with watermarks or logos from third-party social media platforms.

Creators who qualify for the Fund will be emailed and notified in the YouTube app after the first week of each month and will have until the 25th of each month to claim their bonus.
