Yango Group, a global technology firm headquartered in the UAE, has signed a memorandum of understanding to host infrastructure at the State Data Centre in Kragujevac, Serbia. This move is set to reinforce the company’s international infrastructure and elevate its global service standards. Scheduled to go online in 2025, the site will become Yango Group’s primary infrastructure hub.
Importantly, the centre will operate on a collocation model. This allows the company to deploy its own servers within a dedicated, single-tenant suite. As a result, Yango aims to minimize latency, even during peak demand, while also avoiding the inconsistency often associated with shared public-cloud environments.
Serbia was selected due to its favorable climate for data operations, cost-effective energy, and strategic geographic location. The Kragujevac facility stands out as one of the most advanced in the region. Designed to meet TIER 4 standards, it holds key certifications including ISO/IEC 27001 for information security and PCI DSS for data protection. Additionally, its robust physical security and energy-efficient design provide a strong foundation for hosting critical workloads.
