UPOlife launches ‘Heart Health in a Box’ at Arab Health 2022

The Latvian health tech company launches the world’s first-ever ‘Heart Health in a Box’ concept at the Arab Health 2022. This solution offers at-home health services such as check-up assessments and screenings.

Healthtech innovators and cardiologists working under the name of UPOlife have developed a new product – UPOlife Wearable Biosensor Patch. The solution also directly addresses the pandemic-caused challenges, allowing users to assess their heart health and wellness state remotely.

UPOlife Wearable Biosensor Patch is a disposable medical-grade heart health screening device with internal data storage for up to 7 days. There is no need for additional applications and no need to visit the doctor to apply the patch.

The patch allows patients to perform vital signs monitoring while continuing their daily activities. The device records the two-channel electrocardiogram (ECG) signal, heart rate, and heart rate variability. The UPOlife team then uses this data to perform a full heart health and wellness report. Any finding is then validated by a professional cardiologist.

UPOlife heart health report is equal to hospital performed Holter report, analyzing any rhythm events and possible arrhythmia occurrence. Doctors in many countries are already suggesting such heart health screening for anyone after the age of 50 even if there are no signs of disturbances.

Therefore, users can record useful data such as stress levels, recovery balance during the day and night as the wellness reports critically analyze the heart rate variability readings from ECG.
