The United Arab Emirates has added another remarkable achievement to its growing list of global firsts. At the Crisis Management Technologies Exhibition, the country unveiled the world’s largest transparent interactive screen, spanning an astonishing 12.567 square metres. This impressive feat has now entered the Guinness World Records, underscoring the UAE’s continuous pursuit of technological excellence.
The display, both transparent and interactive, stands as a powerful symbol of innovation in the realm of emergency response. Developed under the leadership of the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), the installation demonstrates a bold step toward smarter crisis management systems. During the event, the Guinness World Records certificate was officially presented to NCEMA’s Director-General, Ali Rashid Al Neyadi, by Hanane Spiers, the adjudicator for the MENA region.
A Vision Driven by Leadership
Al Neyadi praised the nation’s leadership for inspiring such forward-thinking achievements. He explained that the drive to lead globally stems from the UAE’s commitment to building a future shaped by its own people. According to him, this record-breaking installation is more than just a display, it’s a reflection of the UAE’s strategic focus on preparedness, innovation, and public engagement.
While many countries invest in emergency response, few have taken such a futuristic approach. The screen uses advanced smart glass combined with artificial intelligence. Visitors interact with it through simple hand movements, experiencing holographic visuals and real-time feedback. As a result, the exhibit offers both educational value and engaging interactivity.
Merging Innovation with National Preparedness
This interactive screen does more than display information, it revolutionises how crisis content is delivered. By blending modern aesthetics with high functionality, it transforms traditional approaches to communication during emergencies. Furthermore, its presence signals the UAE’s readiness to lead in both technological development and public safety.
Looking ahead, the UAE continues to position itself as a beacon of progress. With every new innovation, it proves that ambition, when matched with vision, can redefine global standards. This milestone serves not only as a celebration of technological capability but also as an inspiration for nations aiming to integrate innovation into critical services.
