DMCC, the Dubai-based Government of Dubai Authority on commodities trade and enterprise, has partnered with TDeFi, a global Web3 incubator and consultancy firm, to launch a new accelerator programme for Web3 and blockchain firms at the DMCC Crypto Centre. The accelerator programme will provide mentorship and guidance to companies interested in the crypto space and scaling their business. It will run for at least two editions over the next year and will offer priority guidance and services to firms that wish to formally set up at the Crypto Centre.
TDeFi will also select a few start-ups at the end of each cohort to be part of its in-depth incubation programme. The programme will provide them with additional TDeFi advisory services and access to its growing ecosystem. The DMCC Crypto Centre is currently the largest concentration of Web3 and blockchain firms in the region, with over 550 members. The partnership between DMCC and TDeFi will attract a new wave of crypto firms to Dubai, positioning the city as a leading hub for the crypto industry.
