SPARK and Nokia Partner to Strengthen UAE Innovation Ecosystem

Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SPARK) and Nokia Solutions and Networks AE have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding to strengthen innovation and knowledge exchange in the UAE. Through this partnership, both organizations aim to create programs that empower talent and support the country’s growing innovation ecosystem.

The agreement was signed by Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SPARK, and Rima Manna, Vice President of Network Infrastructure Sales, Middle East, and UAE Country Director at Nokia. Meanwhile, the signing took place during SPARK’s annual Ramadan Majlis attended by Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of SPARK.

Strengthening Innovation Collaboration

Moreover, the collaboration focuses on developing practical solutions through shared expertise. In addition, both parties plan to strengthen engagement across regional and global innovation networks. These efforts will help expand opportunities for innovators and institutions across multiple sectors.

Programs to Develop Talent and Scalable Solutions

The partnership will also introduce capacity-building initiatives designed to nurture high-impact talent. For example, the organizations will launch targeted training programs and master classes for professionals and innovators. Furthermore, these initiatives aim to strengthen technical capabilities and encourage collaborative problem-solving.
