Samsung Launches Galaxy Tab Active5 Enterprise Edition
Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab Active5 Enterprise Edition, a tablet designed for professionals working in challenging environments. The device comes in two configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, priced at Rs 49,999 and Rs 56,999, respectively.
The tablet features an 8-inch TFT display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by an Octa-Core processor. It runs on Android 15 with guaranteed OS upgrades for seven years and includes a three-year device warranty. The 5,050mAh replaceable battery supports all-day use, while a no-battery mode enables continuous operation when connected to constant power. Additionally, the display is optimized for outdoor visibility, ensuring usability across varied climatic conditions.
Durability and Usability
Built for rugged usage, the Galaxy Tab Active5 holds an IP68 rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It also includes a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Sensors such as accelerometers, fingerprint readers, geomagnetic sensors, gyros, light sensors, and proximity sensors enhance functionality.
The IP68-certified S Pen makes it easier to take notes or sign documents in different lighting and weather conditions. Its loud speakers ensure clarity in noisy work environments. Moreover, programmable keys with Push-to-Talk (PTT) functionality allow teams to communicate quickly and effectively.

Samsung also includes a 50 percent discount on Google Workspace for small and medium enterprises, along with free access to Zello for Work Push-To-Talk service until December 2025. Enterprises benefit further with a complimentary 12-month subscription to the Knox Suite Enterprise Security Platform, valued at Rs 4,515, which provides advanced device protection.
