Two versions and a shift in proportions
According to multiple leaks, Samsung may introduce two variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 8. Alongside the standard model, a wider version could arrive with a 4:3 aspect ratio. While the inner display is said to measure 7.6 inches, slightly smaller than before, the altered proportions could improve everyday viewing. Meanwhile, the outer screen on the wider variant is expected to measure 5.4 inches. As a result, quick tasks like checking notifications or replying to messages may feel more natural. Additionally, the wider format could reduce letterboxing during video playback, a recurring issue with earlier designs.
Battery gains and a smoother fold
