Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra design

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to make its global debut in early 2026, succeeding the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Recent design leaks, allegedly based on CAD renders, have revealed what the phone might look like. Alongside these images, new information about its key specifications has emerged. The upcoming device is said to include faster data transfer speeds, enhanced thermals, and a fresh “Privacy Display” feature. Moreover, it is anticipated to run on the latest Snapdragon chipset, offering improved efficiency and performance.

Expected Specifications and Features

Tipster Anthony (@TheGalox_) shared several details about the Galaxy S26 Ultra, describing it as the company’s next major flagship. According to the leak, the smartphone may feature a larger vapour chamber for better thermal management. It could also come with up to 16GB of RAM, reportedly enabling data transfer speeds that are around 25 percent faster than before.

The handset is expected to sport a 6.9-inch M14 QHD+ CoE Dynamic AMOLED display. Additionally, this panel may include a “Private Display” or “Privacy Display” feature designed to limit viewing angles for greater confidentiality. These features were reportedly spotted in One UI 8.5 code references, suggesting their possible integration in the final model.

Meanwhile, another well-known source, PhoneArt (@UniverseIce), shared an image showing the phone in three colourways. Among them is an orange variant, said to resemble the Cosmic Orange hue of the iPhone 17 Pro. This addition could bring a new aesthetic touch to the upcoming series.

Performance, Camera, and Battery Details

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage configurations. It may also retain a powerful quad-camera setup, featuring a 200-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.4 aperture, a 50-megapixel periscope lens with 5x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom.

Under the hood, the device could run on a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset, ensuring improved multitasking and gaming performance. Powering the phone might be a 5,000mAh battery supporting 60W wired fast charging. The model is said to measure around 7.9mm in thickness. However, reports also suggest that some regional variants might ship with the Exynos 2600 SoC instead of Snapdragon.
