Samsung Galaxy S26 Leak Reveals Slim Qi2 Design

Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup showcasing sleek new camera design and premium finish

Samsung’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S26, is shaping up to be one of the brand’s most refined smartphones yet. Expected to debut in early 2026, the device will reportedly feature a remarkably slim 6.9mm profile, making it thinner than the Galaxy S25. Leaked design diagrams suggest a vertical triple-camera array housed in a pill-shaped module, giving the phone a more streamlined look.

Additionally, a new ring-shaped element on the rear panel hints at built-in magnetic alignment for Qi2 wireless charging. This would make the Galaxy S26 Samsung’s first model to fully support Qi2 certification, enabling faster and more efficient magnetic charging without the need for special cases.

Core hardware and display upgrades

The Galaxy S26 lineup will likely continue Samsung’s standard flagship structure, including the base S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra models. The device is expected to feature a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with up to 3,000 nits of brightness, ensuring superior visibility even under direct sunlight.

Biometric security will be handled by an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, while durability remains strong with IP68-rated protection. On the performance front, the Exynos 2600 chipset built on a 2nm process will power most regions, while select markets such as North America may receive the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 variant.

Enhanced camera, AI, and connectivity

Camera capabilities are expected to include a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera. These upgrades aim to deliver sharper detail, improved dynamic range, and better low-light photography. In addition, the Galaxy S26 will ship with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, introducing more AI-assisted features and smoother multitasking.

Connectivity options are expected to include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and USB-C 3.2. Powering all of this will be a 4,300mAh battery, supporting 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. Altogether, the Galaxy S26 aims to combine next-generation design, AI innovation, and cutting-edge hardware for a polished, future-ready experience.
