SalamAir has partnered with Arcube to introduce integrated eSIM and e-Visa services. Through this move, the airline expands its digital capabilities while improving the passenger journey beyond the flight experience.

At the same time, the initiative supports SalamAir’s broader strategy to deliver a seamless, technology-driven travel ecosystem. Moreover, both services are embedded within the airline’s booking platforms, so passengers can manage connectivity and visa requirements through a single interface.

Integrated connectivity through eSIM services

As part of the rollout, passengers can access Arcube’s eSIM solution directly during booking. Consequently, users can activate mobile data instantly upon arrival without using physical SIM cards. In addition, the service offers access to more than 5,000 data packages across over 213 countries and territories.

Therefore, travelers avoid the inconvenience of purchasing local SIM cards and reduce exposure to high roaming costs. Meanwhile, flexible data plans allow passengers to connect within minutes of landing. As a result, both leisure and business travelers benefit from reliable and immediate mobile access across SalamAir’s network.

Streamlined visa processing with an AI-enabled platform

In parallel, Arcube’s e-Visa platform simplifies travel documentation for passengers. The system supports applications for up to 198 nationalities across key destinations served by SalamAir. Furthermore, an AI-enabled guided process helps users complete applications more efficiently.

At the same time, real-time tracking improves transparency by allowing travelers to monitor application status. Additionally, a dynamic rules engine maps visa requirements based on nationality and destination. Consequently, passengers receive clear guidance on eligibility, documentation, and pricing, which reduces complexity and improves decision-making.

Advancing digital travel ecosystems and ancillary services

Beyond individual features, both solutions operate on Arcube’s advanced technology platform. Intelligent eSIM network selection adapts connectivity based on destination, while automation within the e-Visa system reduces manual input and improves accuracy.

Moreover, the partnership strengthens SalamAir’s focus on modern retailing. By integrating these services, the airline delivers more personalized, data-driven offerings while expanding ancillary revenue streams.

Ultimately, this collaboration reflects a broader shift in aviation toward integrated digital ecosystems. As airlines adopt connected services, they enhance customer engagement while building new value layers around the travel experience.
