Nvidia Launches AI Tools for Robots, New Gaming Chips, and Toyota Collaboration
At CES 2025, Nvidia unveiled groundbreaking advancements across robotics, gaming, and automotive sectors. The tech giant introduced its Cosmos foundation models, designed to create photo-realistic synthetic video for training robots and self-driving cars. This innovation allows for cost-effective simulation of real-world environments, revolutionizing data collection methods for robotics and AI systems.
Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang showcased new RTX 50 series gaming chips, featuring the ‘Blackwell’ AI technology, which enhances gaming realism with advanced shaders and lifelike human facial modeling. The chips, priced between $549 and $1,999, are set for release in January and February 2025.
Additionally, Nvidia announced Project DIGITS, its first desktop computer tailored for AI developers, featuring a custom operating system and advanced chipsets, available in March for $3,000.
In the automotive sector, Toyota will adopt Nvidia’s Orin chips and operating systems for driver-assistance features, boosting Nvidia’s projected automotive revenue to $5 billion by 2026.
Nvidia’s stock hit a record high of $149.43, further cementing its position as the world’s second-most valuable company, with a market valuation of $3.66 trillion.
