Notion, the connected AI workspace used by more than 100 million people globally, will launch full Arabic language support on January 26, 2026. This release represents the company’s first major product investment in the Middle East and responds to sustained organic adoption across the region. As a result, Notion aims to remove language barriers for teams and creators who already rely on the platform for daily work.
Arabic Support Across Core Experience
With this update, Arabic will be available across Notion’s desktop and mobile apps, homepage, and key website sections. Consequently, teams, founders, and individual creators across Arabic-speaking markets can plan, write, and collaborate in their preferred language. Moreover, the addition reflects real usage patterns in the region, where users often operate across multiple languages and markets. By supporting Arabic natively, the platform simplifies collaboration and reduces friction in cross-functional workflows.
Community-Led Growth in the Middle East
Notion’s expansion builds on strong regional momentum developed over several years. Notably, millions of users across the Middle East already use the platform, including hundreds of thousands in the UAE. In addition, regional organizations such as Emirates Foundation and Emirates Investment Bank rely on Notion for internal collaboration. Meanwhile, more than 1,000 UAE-based startups have participated in the Notion Startups Program, reinforcing the platform’s role in the local innovation ecosystem.
Local Engagement and Next Steps
To mark the launch, Notion recently hosted a Make with Notion Showcase in Dubai, bringing together founders, creators, and community members. Furthermore, users can switch to Arabic directly within app settings or via the website. With this update, Notion now supports 21 languages worldwide, strengthening its global and regional accessibility.
