Noon, Urban Company roll out Home Services in Gulf

noon and Urban Company partner to offer home services in Gulf region

noon, the Middle East’s leading digital marketplace, has partnered with Urban Company to bring on-demand home services to customers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This strategic collaboration marks noon’s expansion into a new vertical, going beyond e-commerce, food delivery, and fintech. Now, users can book services such as home cleaning, electrical repairs, and personal grooming directly through the noon app.

According to Faraz Khalid, CEO of noon, the goal is to bring trusted home service providers closer to users. With Urban Company’s reputation for quality and noon’s regional scale, the partnership is set to raise the bar for reliability and convenience in home services. Meanwhile, Urban Company sees this alliance as a gateway to further strengthen its presence in the Middle East. Abhiraj Singh Bhal, Co-founder and CEO of Urban Company, emphasized that noon’s reach will help redefine customer service experiences across the region.

Urban Company has already served over 12 million unique users and employed nearly 48,169 trained service professionals as of December 2024. The integration with noon adds a new layer of accessibility for users in both countries.

A Seamless Platform for Daily Services

In the UAE, the service catalogue includes regular and deep cleaning, laundry, AC and plumbing repair, salon services for men and women, babysitting, pet care, and even packing help. Meanwhile, customers in Saudi Arabia will be able to book similar services such as deep cleaning, carpentry, home maintenance, and wellness care like massages and manicures.

Moreover, the partnership allows users to subscribe to recurring services or request specific professionals for repeat visits. This feature enhances consistency and builds trust over time. Since all booking, management, and support tools will be integrated into the noon app, customers won’t need to download additional software.

The phased rollout is set to begin soon, bringing the full suite of services to a broader audience across the Gulf. It also supports Urban Company’s ambitions as it prepares for an IPO in India, filed in April 2025.

By joining forces, noon and Urban Company aim to make everyday tasks easier, more efficient, and accessible with just a few taps. This move not only strengthens their market positions but also demonstrates how tech-driven partnerships can improve quality of life in the digital economy.
