Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 now comes with Copilot – an AI-powered feature

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming various industries, including the launch of OpenAI’s AI chatbot, ChatGPT. Microsoft has invested billions of dollars in OpenAI and has introduced this chatbot into its products, such as the search engine Bing and the web browser Edge. The company has been clear about its plans to implement more AI-backed technologies into its products.

After introducing AI-backed technologies to its consumer products, Microsoft has now turned its focus towards enterprise tech by launching the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Copilot. This copilot dubbed the world’s first AI copilot for customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) segments, harnesses next-generation AI capabilities and natural language processing to enhance various business functions.

According to Microsoft, the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Copilot will work along with professionals and enable them to conceptualise and create content efficiently, deal with time-consuming tasks, and gain insights on best practices. It will help companies empower their staff with sufficient AI tools that can assist with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain roles. All of this can be done simply by describing what’s needed. The copilot is designed to reduce the number of repetitive tasks that workers are required to perform, which is a common desire among professionals.

The copilot’s launch was announced on Microsoft’s official blog, where the company stated that it was releasing the next generation of AI product updates across its business applications portfolio. With the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Copilot, professionals in various industries can spend more time on the best parts of their jobs and less time on mundane tasks. The copilot provides interactive, AI-powered assistance across business functions such as sales, service, marketing, and supply chain. The copilot uses advanced AI capabilities to provide support to professionals, and it is one of the latest examples of how AI is transforming the business world.
