Microsoft will unveil GPT-4, with the help of videos produced by the model itself

Microsoft is set to introduce its latest version of the OpenAI Large Language Model (LLM), GPT-4, which is expected to be more powerful than its predecessor, GPT-3.5. The new AI model will be unveiled next week during an event called “AI in Focus – Digital Kickoff.” GPT-4 will have multimodal models, which are expected to offer new possibilities such as generating videos from text prompts. This is a significant development because current AI technologies, including ChatGPT, can only provide text-based responses.

Andreas Braun, Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft Germany, confirmed the release of GPT-4 during a recent interview, stating that “the multimodal models will offer completely different possibilities – for example, videos.” The new models could open up opportunities for video production and other types of content.

In related news, Microsoft’s AI-powered Bing search engine has surpassed 100 million daily active users. This growth is attributed to ChatGPT’s integration into Bing, which has enabled the company to expand its user base. Roughly one-third of Bing preview users are using the AI chat feature daily. While Bing still lags behind Google Search, which has over 1 billion daily active users, Microsoft’s investment in AI technology continues to pay off.
