Swedish AI startup Lovable has announced an expanded multi-year partnership with Google Cloud. The announcement came during the Google Cloud Summit Nordics 2026 in Stockholm. As a result, Google Cloud will serve as one of Lovable’s primary technology partners as the company targets more enterprise customers for its AI-powered app-building platform.
The agreement places Lovable’s platform on Google Cloud’s AI infrastructure and Gemini models. Meanwhile, the company has increased its use of Google Cloud infrastructure by five times. According to Lovable, users now create more than one million new projects each week. Therefore, the company sought enterprise-grade infrastructure to support its rapid growth.
Partnership Focuses on Security and Enterprise Adoption
The collaboration centers on three key initiatives. First, Lovable has introduced its AI agent in the Gemini Enterprise Agent Gallery, a curated marketplace of third-party agents for enterprise customers.
Second, a new integration with cloud security company Wiz adds real-time vulnerability detection and remediation for AI-generated code. In addition, the integration provides continuous security scanning, dependency monitoring, and audit trails.
Third, the partnership simplifies procurement and billing through Google Cloud Marketplace. Consequently, enterprise customers can adopt the platform more easily and manage purchases through existing cloud agreements.
Rapid Growth Drives Enterprise Expansion
Lovable has expanded quickly since launching its “vibe coding” approach, which turns natural-language prompts into full-stack applications. The company raised $200 million in Series A funding in mid-2025 at a valuation of $1.8 billion. Later that year, reports valued the company at approximately $6.6 billion.
During its first year, developers created more than 25 million projects on the platform. Furthermore, applications built with Lovable now attract around 600 million monthly visits.
The partnership also highlights growing competition in the AI application development market. Lovable competes with platforms such as Cursor, Replit, and Bolt, while AI model providers continue building their own app-creation tools. Therefore, closer alignment with Google Cloud provides both infrastructure support and broader enterprise distribution. At the same time, the agreement aligns with Google’s wider effort to expand adoption of agentic AI technologies within enterprise environments.
