It is true that Arab Health and Medlab Middle East 2022 have begun this week, with representatives from around 160 countries.
From January 24-27, Arab Health and Medlab Middle East are welcoming healthcare and health industry professionals from around the world to one of the world’s largest healthcare and laboratory exhibitions to discover the latest innovations in the sector.
International appeal
Over 60,000 attendees are expected over the four days, along with almost 4,000 exhibitors from the healthcare and laboratory industries. Over 60 countries are being represented, with over 20 dedicated country pavilions.
Located at the Dubai World Trade Centre and exhibiting under the themes of ‘United by business, forging ahead’ and ‘Connect with innovation that’s changing the face of diagnostics’, the two events are showcasing the latest innovations in the global healthcare industry and affording professionals a chance to meet and discuss the latest healthcare advances.

Focus on technology
Arab Health 2022 is featuring the new Healthcare Transformation Zone which will showcase the latest technological advancements from global innovators and disruptors. The popular startup competition, Innov8 Talks has returned and will feature 24 companies presenting unique, innovative solutions. The Transformation Zone is also seeing the launch of the Product Showcase segment, where a range of companies will present innovations that could shape the future of the healthcare and laboratory industries.
Industry leaders
This year’s events are seeing the launch of the Future Health Summit, which is being attended by over 150 senior government healthcare officials, CEOs, and leaders, from around the world, according to the organizers. Panelists will include Alaa Murabit, medical doctor, global security strategist, women’s rights advocate and United Nations High-Level Commissioner on Health, Employment and Economic Growth, Dr. Sameh El-Saharty, Programme Leader for Human Development, GCC Country Department, The World Bank, Päivi Sillanaukee, Ambassador for Health and Wellbeing, Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, and Veronica Beneitez Piñero, Deputy Head of Unit, Transition and Business Acceleration Services Unit, European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency, European Commission.
Alongside the Future Health Summit, and as part of the Arab Health Congress, over 550 regional and international speakers and over 2,500 delegates will be participating in 12 Continuing Medical Education (CME) events.
