Khazna Data Centres, based in Abu Dhabi, has announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to build AI infrastructure across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Following the UAE-US AI campus announcement last month, NVIDIA certified Khazna’s next-generation facility designs to support its Blackwell architecture. Consequently, Khazna’s upcoming projects will include NVIDIA-ready blueprints by default, ensuring seamless compatibility with the latest GPU-accelerated workloads.
Leading AI Infrastructure in the UAE and Beyond
Khazna is majority-owned by G42, with MGX and Silver Lake as minority shareholders. As a global leader in hyperscale digital infrastructure, the company is scaling its capabilities quickly. Hassan Alnaqbi, CEO of Khazna Data Centres, said, “The world is entering a new era of AI-driven innovation, and the UAE is uniquely positioned to lead.” He added, “Our work with NVIDIA represents a bold step forward in delivering high-performance, future-ready infrastructure at an unprecedented scale.”
Khazna plans to design most of its future data halls with capacities up to 50 MW. Furthermore, it will develop AI clusters reaching 250 MW. Since many halls will be part of the planned UAE-US AI campus, this initiative positions the UAE among the world’s top AI infrastructure hubs.
Expanding Across MEA and Europe
Khazna is also rapidly expanding across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. The company aims to reach 1 GW of total capacity in several countries, including France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Türkiye, and Kenya. This growth reflects Khazna’s commitment to building cutting-edge AI-ready infrastructure worldwide while supporting regional technology ambitions.
