Intel Launches Core Ultra Series 2 AI PCs with vPro, Designed for Business Use

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, Intel introduced its latest Core Ultra Series 2 processors, aiming to revolutionize business computing with enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. This new lineup includes models such as the Core Ultra 200U, 200H, 200HX, 200S, and 200V, each designed to cater to diverse business requirements, from lightweight laptops to high-performance workstations.

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, Intel introduced its latest Core Ultra Series 2 processors, aiming to revolutionize business computing with enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. This new lineup includes models such as the Core Ultra 200U, 200H, 200HX, 200S, and 200V, each designed to cater to diverse business requirements, from lightweight laptops to high-performance workstations.

A significant feature of these processors is the integration of Intel’s vPro platform, which offers advanced security and remote management capabilities. This integration ensures that businesses can maintain robust security protocols while managing their IT infrastructure efficiently.

Performance benchmarks highlight substantial improvements over previous generations. For instance, the Core Ultra 7 265H processor demonstrates:

• 2.84 times better multicore performance in Cinebench 2024 compared to the Intel Core i7-1185G7 from four years prior.

• 1.39 times faster productivity performance in Procyon benchmarks.

• 1.97 times improved video editing speeds in Procyon tests.




These advancements underscore Intel’s commitment to enhancing AI-driven workloads, making these processors well-suited for tasks that require significant computational power.

The rollout of the Core Ultra Series 2 processors is planned in phases throughout 2025. Notably, the Core Ultra 200V series with Intel vPro is already available. Additionally, systems featuring the Core Ultra 200U, 200H, 200HX, and 200S processors are expected to ship by late March 2025. Moreover, Intel vPro Fleet Services, designed for IT remote management, is currently in preview, with general availability anticipated soon.
